Components
High-tenacity polyester webbing. Anodized aluminum torsion bar. High-strength polymer retention clip and slider. Polymer stabilizing plate. Webbing with nylon hooks and loops.
Dimensions
Dimensions: 155x50x40mm; Tape width: 38mm; Total length (open): 990mm; Weight: 87g
The TORSION BAR or torsion rod has a larger dimension (160mm), working in conjunction with the RETAINING CLIP to ensure secure locking in any situation of use.
The grooves improve grip and help in stressful situations or where fine motor coordination is potentially reduced and/or in situations with hands soiled with blood, mud, water, etc., and in any weather condition.
Due to its construction and size, it facilitates one-handed use during self-application.
The retention clip, manufactured from high-strength polymer, was developed so that regardless of the torsion bar's position and angle, it remains fully locked without the possibility of accidental unlocking, whether during the removal of the injured person or in any other situation, guaranteeing the safety of the application. This innovative system reduces the tourniquet application time.
This 38 mm wide traction strap features an orange tip design, without clasps or rings, and has an angled cut to facilitate passage through the guide. The orange tip provides a visual cue in low-visibility conditions and offers a distinct tactile feel, making it easier for the operator to use in various situations and environments. It also includes a label at the end indicating the application time.
The tourniquet is designed to ensure quick passage of the tape through the tip, facilitating and significantly reducing application time when needed in situations where the tourniquet must be opened to encircle the affected limb.
